Vacations are typically planned in advance. There’s airfare, lodging, meals and activities to consider. But what if on the first day of the vacation, you learned of an unexpected storm. Would you cancel your plans and request a refund? Would you turn around and give up on your much anticipated vacation?

Storms in life normally arrive without notification. Human impulse makes us feel helpless, with a strong desire to give up. But stopping in the middle of a storm does not make it end. Continuing through the storm brings us to the other side.
